Starting this month, our Chattogram departures run on fully contracted space: forty guaranteed slots every Friday sailing to Singapore for onward connection to Rotterdam. No more watching allocation emails on Thursday night. If you book before the Wednesday cut-off, your box sails — in writing.
What guaranteed actually means
It means a volume commitment we signed in March, with rollover protection: if the vessel is overbooked, the carrier moves someone else's spot cargo, not our contracted boxes. It means fixed cut-off times published for the whole quarter, and a landed rate that already includes bunker and documentation. Deferring duty helps slow-moving stock and hurts fast-turn lines — so we price LCL per CBM and FCL per box, and show both.
A simple test for which one you have
Look at your last three invoices. If the ocean line moves more than 8% between them, you bought spot space dressed as a contract. Send us one packing list and we will return a fixed Friday-sailing quote within a day. Then compare it against your next three sailings — that is the whole pitch.
LCL buyers welcome
Half the Friday allocation is reserved for consolidations: 1 CBM minimum, moisture-protected stowage, de-stuffed at our Rotterdam depot or delivered to your door. Small shippers get the same guarantee as the forty-box accounts, because the contract covers the sailing, not the size of your share.
